What Is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic care is performed by Doctors of Chiropractic, also referred to as Chiropractic Physicians or Chiropractors.  Chiropractors treat disorders of the nervous system and the musculoskeletal system, through a hands-on approach without the use of drugs or surgery.

Chiropractic care can be used to treat numerous neuro-musculoskeletal complaints, painful disorders, structural imbalances, and functional deficiencies all throughout the body.  The most common conditions chiropractors see are back pain, neck pain, headaches, joint pain in the legs, and joint pain in the arms. Chiropractic care can also be used as a means of preventative health care. By positively impacting the physiological processes of the body, chiropractic care can aid the body’s natural ability to stay healthy and balanced.
